Chomping on some hay
THE PLAYER QUEEN (1.18) is our only runner at Wetherby tomorrow. She was entered at Ayr earlier in the week but we were worried about the soft ground up there. In the end it wasn’t actually that bad, but it was tacky enough and we know from last season’s experiences that she doesn’t like that. So we decided to wait and hopefully that will turn out to be the right decision.
It’s a hot race this weekend, as you would expect, but she’s at the bottom of the weights and has been working well at home. She is a horse we do hope is better than the mark she’s currently got. We will find out this weekend!
