Our yard is located just eight miles from Bamburgh Beach so we have the option of taking our horses for a day by the seaside. 

The cold, salty water and the waves are excellent for tired legs, so a splash in the sea has more benefits beyond being fun. 

With horses who need something extra in their training regime, a day away and a gallop on the sandy beach can help spark them up. Plenty of horses have found a new lease of life after a morning at Bamburgh.
