Sedgefield

We head to Sedgefield with CLASSICAL SOUND (2.42) and HITMAN FRED (3.42) today. Classical Sound was just creeping into it at Catterick last time when he made an helluva mistake last fence down the back, and departed at the next. If he's in similar form today (without the mistakes!) and the cheekpieces make him travel well early, I'd hope he'd be able to go close in a race of this nature. He was placed 2nd round here in a 3m3f hurdle race a couple of years ago.

Hitman Fred makes his chase debut. It's only 2m5 which is sharp enough for him, but again it's a weak-ish race so he could go close if he's able to lie up okay early doors. He's won a point to point and has schooled very well at home. He also ran well on the all weather recently, so I hope he's in similar form today.

We haven't got a good record for winners recently at Sedgefield, so I hope one or both can improve that today!
