Wild Polly

WILD POLLY (1.45) is our only runner on the card at Ayr tomorrow, lining up in their 2m4f mares’ hurdle. Although she made her debut for us in 2020, this will only be her tenth run due to a lengthy layoff a couple of years ago.

A course winner on her second start in what looked on paper that day a more than decent race, she was given a high opening mark and has taken a while to come back down the rankings. Polly needed her debut run at Newcastle last month and we expect her to improve from that.

Dropping into a 0-100 means she’ll be carrying top weight so Ciaran’s 7lbs will lessen the load a bit. We know she likes the track and trip so hopefully she’ll be able to kick on from her last run and be competitive.
