WE head to Musselburgh today with four runners and back to a track that has been good to us so far this season with two winners from two so far.
STYLE NELSON (12.15) is first up in the maiden hurdle and we hope to see a bit more from him based on his work at home. He ran okay at Kelso in a race that a couple of winners have come from, but we still think he’s capable of better.
He’s been treated for stomach ulcers so hopefully that helps him and it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
DEFINITE WISDOM (1.15) and PERMISSION GRANTED (1.45) have both won at the track recently so we know they go well around here. It’s a bit of a quick turnaround for Permission Granted after Market Rasen but he’s in good order at home so we thought he’d take his chance.
He just got stuck in the mud last time but he’s taking his racing really well. It’s a hands and heels race so James Robottom will have his first ride under rules for us. He rode in the Alnwick point to point for us last week, he’s working hard so deserves his chance.
Definite Wisdom only went up five for winning last time, which was fair enough, so is off top weight in the 0-105 chase. He’s very well so we thought we’d have another go with him.
CHOSEN FLAME (2.15) also comes back after a short break. He ran well over course and distance last season so even though his best form us over two miles, we think he’ll get two and a half around Musselburgh okay.
