Cartmel

AFTER not having a runner since July 1, it will be great to finally see one in action today at long last.

We run PERMISSION GRANTED in the 5.55pm at Cartmel.

We suspect he may be better going right-handed because of his good runs at Musselburgh last season but he’s not been out in a while so we want to get him back going. His main aim is for a race at Perth at the end of the September, but he’s in good order, he looks fantastic and has a little wind op over the summer.

If he handles going left-handed then he could run okay but that’s the unknown part of it - we'll find out later today!

Everyone else is in full swing now as we build up to the autumn meetings kicking in and we’re really happy with the new horses.

They’re all looking great, going really well in their work and the next few weeks will be a bit of the calm before the storm.

We will have a few runners in September but the main bunch are being primed for October so it won’t be long now until we’re getting them back on the track in decent numbers.
