Captain Quint - Kelso

CAPTAIN QUINT (2.40) seems to be a bit of a forgotten horse tomorrow on the bookies' prices after his disappointing run at Newbury in March. He started off well there but went to pieces a bit so we’ll need a better round of jumping this time to get back to being competitive again. He schooled well the other day under Craig so all seems well with him and this appears to be a nice race for him.

Mum and Dad will be keeping him in training next season with Paul Robson when he moves into the yard, which is great.

Hopefully he can run well one last time for me before we finish up. We will have a few more runners coming up at Market Rasen, Sedgefield, possibly Perth and then back at Kelso for Ladies Day so fingers-crossed we’ll get a winner!
